Babe Ruth won World Series championships with the Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees. And, according to his daughter, he was an amazing dancer, with his specialty being the Foxtrot. Of course, back then, there was no Dancing with the Stars. During Ruth’s playing days, there was no television! Johnny Damon, however, has the chance to follow in The Babe’s footsteps, from the ballpark to the ballroom floor. Like baseball’s legendary slugger, Damon won the World Series as a member of both the Red Sox and Yankees during his 18-year career. Unlike Ruth, though, Damon will get to show off his dance skills on TV, and there’s no chance of him getting cold feet, because he’s there to compete. How will Damon do? Will he get a chance to rock the Foxtrot like Babe Ruth did? Dancing with the Stars: Athletes airs Monday nights at 8/7c on ABC.
