Blumhouse’s Truth or Dare centers on a group of friends (Lucy Hale, Tyler Posey, Violett Beane, Hayden Szeto, Sophia Ali, Nolan Gerard Funk) who travel to Mexico as part of their final undergraduate hurrah. What starts out as a harmless game of truth or dare turns into an entirely supernatural occurrence, endangering the lives of each of the players.
Both Hale (Pretty Little Liars, Life Sentence) and Posey (Teen Wolf) are used to working on a tight and filled schedule, and the breakneck production of Blumhouse’s Truth or Dare was something up Posey’s alley. “This movie was really, really, really fun to make,” said Posey. “It kind of changed my life in a way. Big time. It was really sweet. I fell in love (with the cast) and I love working hard and in this movie we had to work really hard. There was really no rest. It was really go, go, go all the time and it was really ambitious (filmmaking). I love that kind of thing.”
