Chadwick Boseman made a splash as the Black Panther in Captain America: Civil War, and now the Marvel superhero gets his own movie.
Along with starting off a possible franchise, the film also boasts the talents of Creed director Ryan Cogler and actor Michael B. Jordan. This time out, Jordan plays Erik Kilmonger, a rival of Black Panther (Boseman), and it’s a confrontation that should be one of the many highlights of the film.
“I think it’s because it’s different,” said Boseman on the anticipation behind the film. “People have not seen this before so people are excited about what they have not seen. Obviously there’s a huge confrontation between my character and Michael’s character. I think people are excited about that as well.”
