Hugh Jackman delivered one of his best cinematic performances earlier this year with Logan, and now he’s bringing his love for song and dance with The Greatest Showman. The project centers on how P.T. Barnum created, through perseverance and innovation, created the Barnum & Bailey circus.
Jackman’s own performing background isn’t relegated to the silver screen as he’s devoted a huge portion of his career to a life on the stage (he received a Tony for his work in The Boy from Oz). “The story is so full of heart,” said Jackman about The Greatest Showman.”And it’s about imagination. It’s about passion and following your dreams and just abandon – fearless abandon.”
