There’s a huge buzz on director Luca Guadagnino’s coming of age drama Call Me By Your Name. The third part of his Desire trilogy, it’s the story of a 17-year-old boy, played by Timothée Chalamet, who becomes romantically involved with Oliver (Armie Hammer), one of his father’s students. Both of its stars deliver outstanding performances, and the chemistry between Chalamet and Hammer in a movie built on intimate moments is remarkable. The two actors hadn’t worked together before starting this movie, so we asked them what their first impressions were when they met each other.
Call Me By Your Name is playing now in selected theaters.
