The latest Saw installment Jigsaw was the #1 film over the weekend with $16.2 million, followed by Tyler Perry’s Boo2! A Madea Halloween with $10 million. It was an overall slow box office weekend, as witnessed by the poor showing of director George Clooney’s Suburbicon (#9, $2.8 million). Here’s the top 10:

1. Jigsaw – $16.2 million

2. Tyler Perry’s Boo 2! A Madea Halloween – $10 million

3. GeostormGerard Butler flick checks in with a disappointing $5.6 million (movie’s budget is $120 million).

4. Happy Death Day – Horror movie takes in $5 million and currently it’s made over $48 million domestically. With a budget of under $5 million, this is a bonafide hit for Universal Pictures.

5. Blade Runner 2049 – $3.9 million

6. Thank You For Your ServiceMiles Teller drama makes $3.7 million in its debut weekend.

7. Only The Brave – $3.4 million

8. The Foreigner – $3.2 million

9. Suburbicon George Clooney and Matt Damon’s star power didn’t save this movie from tanking. $2.9 million.

10. It – $2.4 million
