Based on Jo Nesbø’s bestselling novel, The Snowman centers on Harry Hole (Michael Fassbender), a detective who is on the trail of an elusive serial killer, With hardly any friends and a fondness for alcohol, Harry is not the most sociable type.
“For Harry obviously the drinking thing is he’s just seeking to stop the incessant noise in his head,” said Fassbender. “He can’t really shut his mind off and it’s only if a serial killer comes about and there seems to be quite a few in Scandinavia, lucky for him that he can sort of really channel this brilliance that he has.”
Rebecca Ferguson co-stars as the recruit who aids Harry in his quest for “The Snowman Killer.”
