As an author, one of Stephen King’s tricks of the trade is hiding details in plain sight. That way, if you read his books again — with the knowledge of how they end — new things will jump out at you with each subsequent reading. He’s a master at it, so he can certainly appreciate when he sees others do the same with their art. And with the new movie based on his novel IT about to hit theaters, he thinks director Andy Muschiette has crafted a film that will encourage multiple viewings.
