Fresh off a tour de force performance in What Happened to Monday, Noomi Rapace is back once again in the action thriller Unlocked. The story centers on Alice Racine (Rapace), a London based case worker who’s pulled back into the CIA after her mentor (Michael Douglas) discovers an imminent terrorist threat. Along with an ex-soldier named Jack (Orlando Bloom), Alice is in a race against time to stop a biological attack in London. Michael Apted, the director behind the 1999 James Bond flick The World Is Not Enough, directs.
“Unlocked is a spy thriller but not at all what you would expect,” said Rapace. “It takes turns and twists that are completely unpredictable which I love. It’s fun – it’s brutal. It’s very raw. I always wanted to do like a Jason Bourne (type of film) but a female version. She’s a little bit of a sister to Jason Bourne I would say.
