For four seasons The Night Shift has been blessed with a talented ensemble cast and solid writing. Unlike many shows that focus most of its drama within the hospital, The Night Shift has not been afraid to explore life outside San Antonio Memorial Hospital (as evinced by TC’s work in Syria).

On the matter of exploration, both Eoin Macken (TC Callahan) and Jill Flint (Jordan Alexander) continue to love being part of The Night Shift family while also delving into different roles during their hiatus. For Flint, she still has her pinch me moments when it comes to working on the show.

“I think it happens to me all the time,” said Flint. “Where I am thrilled this is my life and I get to do this with these people and I love it. I love being on set. I love going on a fresh set and smelling the sawdust and wood. I love everything about it. The circus that is my job.”

The Night Shift, co-starring  JR Lemon, airs Thursday nights on NBC (10 pm et/pt).
