As a member of Generation X, gaming has always been about placing a disc into whatever console I was playing. The first of five episodes of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series is now available for digital download, but I have my eyes set on the hard copy release of the game. A “Season Pass Disc” hits retailers across North America May 2nd, with an international release set for May 5th.

With the disc, gamers will own “Episode One: Tangled Up in Blue,” with the remaining four installments available via online updates later this year. The title is available on Xbox One, Windows PC, Mac, iOS (Apple Store), and Android (Google Play).

The game’s voice acting ensemble includes Scott Porter (Friday Night Lights, Hart of Dixie) as Star-Lord, Emily O’Brien (The Young and the Restless) as Gamora, Nolan North (Pretty Little Liars) as Rocket, Brandon Paul Eells (Watch Dogs) as Drax, and Adam Harrington (The Wolf Among Us) as Groot.
