With Disneynature, one can expect visually immersive and informative documentaries, as their “True Life Adventure” installments spotlights both their subject matter and the importance of Earth Day. In 2018, Disneynature will release Dolphins, a year in the life look at a youngster named Echo who is torn between being a child and growing up to take on bigger responsibilities. Living within the dolphin society has its share of challenges, as the coral reef that houses her family needs a joint effort to keep its ecosystem safe and sound.

Alastair Fothergill and Keith Scholey, filmmakers who collaborated on the Disneynature films Bears and African Cats, are the directors behind Dolphins. The project is set for release in conjunction with Earth Day 2018 and National Dolphin Day (April 14). Check out the trailer below and tell us what you think!
