Poet John Donne famously wrote that “No Man Is An Island,” and the medieval life simulation game Life is Feudal: MMO proves that very concept with their immersive adventure. Developer Bitbox has debuted a new trailer for their title, which guides gamers through the first five hours of the experience.
Starting off as a peasant with little resources, players gather food and supplies to set up their own camp. By socializing with other players and working as a team, the initial goal is to build a home. Then players will divvy up their responsibilities in the game, as various hunters, gathers, and defenders will attempt to build and protect their respective environment. Though I’ve spent most of my life as a solitary gamer, the idea of joining a group focused RPG is enticing (I need to be a better team player!)
Throughout their journey players must work together to thrive in a feudal society that exists in an all too unforgiving and violent universe. Gamers can find their true calling as a vassal, farmer, knight, or even a member of the royalty, as Bitbox claims that there is a “place for everyone” in this game.
