One of Oscar’s most memorable moments came at the close of the evening, as La La Land was mistakenly announced by Faye Dunaway as Best Picture. That honor eventually went to Moonlight, and thankfully the La La Land crew were ever so gracious in processing this huge mistake.

Although PricewaterhouseCoopers claimed that presenters Warren Beatty and Dunaway were given the wrong category envelope, Stone added that she had been holding her Best Actress in a Leading Role card the entire time! Nevertheless, this blunder should not deter from the fact that La La Land and Moonlight were big winners at last night’s Oscars.

“I f**king love Moonlight,” said Stone. “God I love Moonlight so much! I’m so excited for Moonlight. Of course, it was an amazing thing to hear La La Land (be announced). We all would have loved to have won Best Picture but we are so excited for Moonlight. I think it’s one of the best films of all time.”
