Throughout its first season, Supergirl felt like an extended origin story, as the title character took a series of baby steps toward discovering the scope of her powers. But the series’ sophomore year didn’t bring a case of the “terrible twos”; in fact, the series seems to have not only found its rhythm, but also a stronger sense of identity since moving to The CW.
