The Clint Eastwood/Tom Hanks pairing continues to pay dividends, as the flick was the #1 film for the second week in a row with $22 million. All of the hype behind Blair Witch was all for almost nothing, as the film made a disappointing $9.65 million. That figure was actually good enough for second place, as newcomers Bridget Jones’s Baby and Snowden were also dead on arrival with a weak third ($8.2 million) and fourth ($8 million) finish respectively. Here’s this weekend’s top 10:

1. Sully – $22 million and to date the film has made $93 million.

2. Blair Witch – $9.65 million

3. Bridget Jones’s Baby – $8.2 million

4. Snowden – $8 million

5. Don’t Breathe – Budgeted at just $9.9 million, the thriller has made over $107 million worldwide. This weekend, it took in $5.6 million

6. When The Bough Breaks – $5.5 million

7. Suicide Squad – $4.7 million

8. The Wild Life – $2.65 million

9. Kubo and the Two Strings – $2.5 million

10. Pete’s Dragon – $2 million and one of this year’s biggest box office disappointments (it has made just $72 million domestically.
