The CW hit series The Flash has delivered excellent storytelling in its first two seasons. If you feel like we do, you can’t wait until the third season, which premieres in October. After losing his father to Zoom in last season’s finale, The Flash (Grant Gustin) decides to travel back in time to save his mom, but that fateful action leads to huge repercussions in the present, as such DC superheroes as Wonder Woman and Superman have become villains! This season will revolve around Flashpoint, one of Flash’s most popular comic book story arcs, and its ambitious scope should add an even deeper dimension to the show.
We caught up with Grant Gustin, who told us he is very excited for the new season and gave us details about the Flashpoint storyline. He also adds that before he was cast, he was a Flashpoint fan, and thankfully the series gives its own personal spin on this pivotal storyline. (Click on the media bar below to hear Grant Gustin)
