Time flies, especially when one is trying to keep up with the ever changing face of the gaming industry. Some titles, such as the Devil May Cryfranchise, continue to thrive, and the Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition is now available for download in North America on PC as well as the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One systems.
The special edition features the action that turned the 2008 release into a gaming classic and three new playable characters, new costumes, Legendary Dark Knight Mode and Turbo Mode all come in the collection. Now gamers can play as five characters (Nero, Dante, Vergil, Trish, Lady), giving the title the biggest DMC roster to date.
For newbies to the franchise, the story centers on Nero, a young knight on the search for Dante, an assassin who killed the head of the Order of the Sword. Since Nero’s a member of the organization, his quest for vengeance has its complications as he learns the truth behind the motivations of the Order of the Sword.
Downloadable for $24.99, Devil May Cry 4 Special Editionalso has improved visually, as it supports 1080p resolution and contains improved game tempo and balance.
It appears that Comedy Central has struck gold with its new scripted series ANOTHER PERIOD. Described by Entertainment Weekly as DOWNTON ABBEY meets KEEPING UP WITH THE KARDASHIANS, this hilarious mockumentary is created, written and produced by its stars NATASHA LEGGERO (perhaps best known for her scathingly blue work on the Comedy Central roasts) and RIKKI LINDHOME (half of the popular GARFUNKLE AND OATES comedy team).
Set at the turn of the 20th Century, this send-up of societal mores features an all-star comedy cast that also includes PAGET BREWSTER, MICHAEL IAN BLACK, CHRISTINA HENDRICKS, JASON RITTER, DAVE KOECHNER and DAVID WAIN.
Best known to television audiences as the savvy and shapely Joan Harris on the hit series MAD MEN, CHRISTINA HENDRICKS recently addressed the press to promote the new series and talked about stepping into the world of absurdest comedy. (CLICK ON THE MEDIA BAR FOR AUDIO)

Producer Kenichiro Takaki has become a household name in the gaming community thanks to his popular Senran Kagura series. Drawing from Takaki’s youthful love for manga, the series centers on the adventures of a group of scantily clad, wide-eyed, and buxom female ninjas.
XSEED Games is set to release the Nintendo 3DS title Senran Kagura 2: Deep Crimson this summer, and the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita game Senran Kagura Estival Versus is slated for a stateside debut this winter.
Hollywood Outbreak had the opportunity to interview Kenichiro Takaki at last week’s E3 2015, held at the Convention Center in downtown Los Angeles, and we asked him about the sexuality that is inherent in the Senran Kagura titles.
“The game does heavily emphasize on the sexuality and it’s an easy way to understand what the game is,” said Takaki. “But of course, if you want to make it a series that has longevity, it’s not like we just wanted to create a sexual content driven game. There’s a solid core, game playing aspect behind it.”

Previous guests have included GEORGE TAKEI (on life as seen through the filter of STAR TREK) and CHRISTOPHER NOLAN (on the relativity of science to INTERSTELLAR). Tonight’s guest is veteran TV writer/creator NORMAN LEAR (and who knows where that conversation will go?).
Addressing reporters a few months ago to introduce the series, NEIL deGRASSE TYSON talked to us about the genesis of and his vision for the series. (CLICK ON THE MEDIA BAR FOR AUDIO)
