For over a decade, a large part of Orlando Bloom’s career has been starring in Peter Jackson’s films, starting with The Lord of the Rings which was first released in 2001, and continued into The Lord of the Rings trilogy, the last being The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies which is currently dominating at the box office.
For Bloom, who was played Legolas in all the films, it is sweet sorrow to see the end of the films. Bloom told us he felt honored to be in the films and it felt like a family working with Academy Award winning director Peter Jackson. He also said that he feels great pride that the Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit films will live on and never go away.
