Word hit today that inspirational freedom fighter NELSON MANDELA has died at the age of 95. An iconic figure in the South African anti-apartheid movement, he served 27 years in prison for his human rights efforts before being released and elected to President.
A revered statesman and symbol of hope to millions of people, MANDELA has been the subject of several films. The latest of these, MANDELA: LONG WALK TO FREEDOM, is currently in release and is based on his autobiography of the same name. Produced by ANANT SINGH and staring IDRIS ELBA, the film is a testament to the strength and life of a beloved international hero.
