Teri Hatcher Finds Disney Magic With “At-Truck-Tive” Planes Role

PLANES (Disney Enterprises)Opening August 9, Disney’s Planes is an animated feature that centers on a low level flyer named Dusty (voiced by Dane Cook) who dreams of becoming the next great air racer. The film features the voice talents of Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Brad Garrett, John Ratznenberger and Teri Hatcher.

During a recent interview Hatcher talked about her lifelong love for Disney films.

“I find myself tearing up (with) a lot of them,” said Hatcher. “I find myself singing. I like the musicals. I always have. They’re just comforting, which is kind of why I like the opportunity to be part of this Disney animated family. Someday maybe my grandchildren will be watching this movie and I know plenty of families across the world are going to be enjoying it together on a Saturday afternoon, which makes me really happy.”

‘2 Guns’ A Salute to the Acting & Action Talents of Mark Wahlberg & Denzel Washington

2 Guns

Mark Wahlberg is a naval officer and Denzel Washington plays a DEA agent in 2 Guns, a shoot ’em up action flick which is based on the graphic novel of the same name.

Although they are tasked with monitoring each other during the film’s opening act, the duo become the victims of a CIA frame job and must do whatever it takes to clear their name.

Shooting the picture had a familiar feeling for Mr. Wahlberg, as he previously worked with filmmaker Baltasar Kormakur on the 2012 feature Contraband.

“What surprised me was how willing Denzel was to try just anything,” said Wahlberg. “Because we wanted to add some humor and kind of shake it up a bit and combine comedic elements with the dramatic aspect of the movie.”
