Daniel Day-Lewis/Oscars (Source: ABC)

After nabbing the Best Actor Oscar last night for Lincoln, Daniel Day-Lewis is now a three-time winner (he previously received Oscars for My Left Foot and There Will Be Blood).  Day-Lewis also won Screen Actors Guild, British BATA, and Golden Globe statuettes for his work on the biopic.

When asked if he would love to play more historical figures in the future, Day-Lewis said, “I can’t think of anyone right now because I need to have to lie down for a couple of years.  No, I can’t think of any.  I really can’t, no.  It’s really hard to imagine doing anything after this.”
