Alicia Keys took a stab at acting several years ago with Smokin’ Aces and The Secret Life of Bees, but it’s the long in development Lena Horne biopic which stands as one of her ultimate thespian goals.. The songbird is still bringing her “A” game thanks to her hit song “Girl On Fire,” so she has nothing to worry about music wise.

Awards season is upon us, and one of the acting frontrunners is Anne Hathaway, who gives an inspired performance as doomed street walker Fantine in Les Miserables. Her teary eyed rendition of “I Dreamed a Dream” is one of the movie’s many highlights, and it’s the type of performance that should net her a Best Supporting Actress Oscar. Since she’s an Oscar nomination vet (for 2008’s Rachel Getting Married), Hathaway should be more than ready to do the plethora of publicity that goes along with being part of the awards circus.
During the press conference for Les Miserables, Hathaway elaborated on how she stepped “into the reality” of Fantine, as she admits that Fantine’s pain “still lives in this world.” To hear Anne Hathaway, click on the media bar below:

It’s hard to believe that it has been over thirty years since the beloved action series, Knight Rider, first aired on television. The series, centering around a crimefighter and his artificially intelligent supercar battling crime together, made its star, David Hasselhoff a household name. The show ran from 1982 to 1986 on NBC, and to this day, the reruns are popular all over the world. Reruns currently air on the G4 cable network. Hasselhoff told us that no matter where he goes, people still yell “Knight Rider!” when they see him.
