Opening in theaters today, WRECK- IT RALPH is a fast and funny valentine to arcade games (and gamers) gone by. The latest installment from the hitmakers at Walt Disney Animation Studios, the pun-filled road-movie is centered on the titular villain of an 8-bit arcade game who goes on a quest to prove to the gaming world that he’s got the stuff to be a hero. Along the way, he runs into a lot of familiar arcade faces that should jar a few gameboy memories. Directed by RICH MOORE, the inspired cast includes many actors who cut their teeth on improvisational comedy, not the least of whom are JOHN C. REILLY, JANE LYNCH, SARAH SILVERMAN and JACK McBRAYER. We recently sat down with Academy Award-nominee JOHN C. REILLY, who talked about voicing the titular character and how improv really helped the cast.
