Arriving in theaters later this week, WRECK IT RALPH is a celebration of ’80s video games and a reminder that the good old days of gaming arcades have slipped into the past. The latest installment from the hitmakers at Disney/Pixar, the film is centered on the titular villain of an 8-bit arcade game who goes on a quest to clean up his act and prove to the gaming world that he’s got the stuff to be a hero. Along the way, he runs into a lot of familiar arcade faces that should jar a few gameboy memories.
We recently sat down with comic SARAH SILVERMAN (the voice of Vanellope Von Schweetz in the movie) who admitted her surprise at being cast as a Disney princess.
