ricki-lake-tcaReturning to syndicated daytime television after an absence of several years, actress/author/host RICKI LAKE is back to doing what she arguably does best with THE RICKI LAKE SHOW, a formatted talk-fest dealing with current events and popular topics of the day.
Meeting with entertainment reporters over the weekend at the Television Critics Association, LAKE attended a press conference held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel to talk about the upcoming project and why she feels the time is right for her return despite an already crowded marketplace and competition from other newcomers such as KATIE COURIC and STEVE HARVEY. Michael C. Hall Remains Open To Dexter’s Future

142

Season seven of the Showtime series Dexter kicks off September 30, and as with every year the program inundates its world with new blood.  Yvonne Strahovski (Chuck), Jason Gedrick (Luck), and Ray Stevenson (Rome) are among the new faces on the series, which still retains its creative luster thanks to Michael C. Hall’s compelling work as the principled serial killer.

There will be an eighth season of the series and after that Hall seems a tad skeptical about a ninth season of Dexter, Mr. Hall is not closing the door on the possibility.  (Click on the media bar below to hear Michael C. Hall)

Gordon Ramsay In The Zone At Home And In The ‘Kitchen’

141The acerbic, confident, and downright intimidating Gordon Ramsay is one of television’s biggest stars, thanks to his work on the FOX shows Masterchef, Hell’s Kitchen, and Kitchen Nightmares.  While Hell’s Kitchen has Ramsay’s temper on full display, Masterchef gives viewers a more toned down version of the celebrated chef.

At home, Mr. Ramsay is a totally different person, as his school teacher wife and three children are his foundation.  However, when it comes to his work, Ramsay admits that he needs to get into the zone to be one of the best in his field.

Catch Gordon Ramsay in Hell’s Kitchen and Masterchef on Monday and Tuesday nights on Fox.

Colin Farrell: Total Recall Will Entertain Audiences

140It’s easy to see why a Total Recall remake is in existence, as the original Arnold Schwarzenegger feature had top of the line action, a crazy twist, and inspired direction from Paul Verhoeven.  Can Colin Farrell help audiences forget about one of Schwarzenegger’s most beloved roles, and will Len Wiseman, director of Underworld and Live Free or Die Hard, bring the same level of perverse humor which Verhoeven instilled in the original?  Probably not.

Even if the new version fails to reach the heights of the 1990 film, the movie should be at least entertaining, according to Colin Farrell.  (Click on the media below to hear Colin Farrell)
