Seniors Get Their Chance To Prank On ‘Betty White’s Off Their Rockers’

betty-white1Airing tonight on NBC, BETTY’ WHITE’S OFF THEIR ROCKERS takes a page from the PUNK’D playbook and turns it on its ear by having elderly individuals pulling pranks on members of the younger generation. It’s all good-natured fun and a testament to the enduring popularity of BETTY WHITE. Still going strong as one of the stars of the hit TV Land sitcom HOT IN CLEVELAND and recently heard as the voice of “Grandma” in the big screen adaptation of the DR. SEUSS classic THE LORAX, the nonagenarian actress is as popular today as she was when she first conquered television as the star of LIFE WITH ELIZABETH in the early 1950s, embodied Sue Ann Nivens on THE MARY TYLER MOORE SHOW in the 70s and played Rose Nylund on THE GOLDEN GIRLS in the 80s.
Sitting down with entertainment reporters recently, WHITE confessed that, of all the roles she’s played, one stands out as a favorite. (CLICK ON THE MEDIA BAR FOR AUDIO)

Ten years in the making and shot in and around actual Texas locations, the film is elevated by an outstanding performance by JACK BLACK as well as a fascinating story of small town hypocrisy and mores.
