Returning to the role he created in the 2010 adventure CLASH OF THE TITANS, actor LIAM NEESON once again plays the Greek god Zeus in WRATH OF THE TITANS, which opens in theaters today. Directed by JONATHAN LIEBESMAN, the cast also includes SAM WORTHINGTON, RALPH FIENNES, ROSAMUND PIKE, BILL NIGHY, DANNY HUSTON and LILY JAMES.
Inspired by Greek myth, WRATH’S story line has Perseus (WORTHINGTON) going into battle with a multi-headed Chimera in order to save Zeus from the underworld. It’s the kind of classic sword-and-sandal epic that’s been drawing movie audiences since the silents. At the press conference to promote the movie, NEESON talked about why he feels this kind of film is so popular. (CLICK ON THE MEDIA BAR FOR AUDIO)
