The mayhem, disorder, raunchiness, blatant stupidity and downright insanity slathered over director Todd Phillips‘ films, which include his latest project Project X (he’s a producer) has definitely put a smile on my haggard, middle-aged face. For some thought police journalists, however, Phillips’ brand of humor is deemed as downright offensive.
During the Project X interviews, a reporter asked Mr. Phillips about the negative impact his movies may have on teenagers. The filmmaker didn’t give a song and dance answer, as he talked about his love for such films as Risky Business, a movie he eloquently (at least in my opinion) describes as “cool as s**t.”

Project X, which centers on three teenagers throwing the ultimate rager (do kids still use this word?), opens Friday.
