Elizabeth Banks, who will next be seen as a cop trying to stop Sam Worthington from jumping in Man on a Ledge, has had a diversified acting career, delivering solid work in both dramas (The Next Three Days, W) and comedies (The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Zack and Miri Make A Porno).
It’s her role as Effie in The Hunger Games which should give her an even broader range of fans, and in our interview with Banks for Man on a Ledge she explained why she doesn’t feel too much pressure living up to all The Hunger Games hype. Banks is a fan of the series, and she adds that as long as author Suzanne Collins is in her corner, then it’s all fine and dandy.
