In Pasadena yesterday to talk with The Television Critics’ Association about his latest TV creation, MOBBED, producer/host HOWIE MANDEL also took time-out to meet with us for a quick Q & A about a few other things going on in his career. On the subject of the addition of “shock-jock” HOWARD STERN to the panel of judges on AMERICA’S GOT TALENT (which also includes MANDEL) and the subsequent protests by special-interest family values groups, MANDEL says he welcomes the “hoopla.”
