shame-french-poster1In theaters this week, SHAME is a controversial drama focusing on a sexual obsessive and the relationship he shares with his much younger sister. Directed by STEVEN McQUEEN, the cast includes MICHAEL FASSBENDER, CAREY MULLIGAN, JAMES BADGE DALE and ALEX MANETTE. Graphic by nature, the film contains a fair amount of nudity and sexual activity as well as adult themes which are obviously the reasons the MPAA has given it an NC-17 rating. At the recent press conference to promote its release, McQUEEN addressed the nudity question and defended his reason to show on screen what is a perfectly normal fact of everyday life.
