Think you know everything there is to know about the Beatles? Well, documentary filmmaker, Seth Swirsky is confident you haven’t.

His new doc, Beatles Stories is making its North American premiere with two showings at the Newport Beach Film Festival on April 29th (6:00 p.m. PT, Triangle Square 7) and May 2nd (3:00 p.m. PT, Triangle Square 2). Swirsky promises untold stories about the legendary rock group.

The 75-minute indie features 55 interviews with numerous rock and pop icons from Brian Wilson and Graham Nash to Art Garfunkle and Smokey Robinson. The flick took five years to complete and even adds anecdotes from people who had access to the group early on (i.e. recording engineers and former girlfriends).

The Newport Beach Film Festival runs from April 28th to May 5th and is located at 4540 Campus Dr., Newport Beach, CA 92660. For more info and tickets check out the Festival website: http://www.newportbeachfilmfest.com/2011/
