Kenny Rogers is appearing at the Grand Ole Opry tonight and it marks the third time the Country Music legend has taken that stage in his 50-year career.

Rogers is enjoying a resurgence with his newest release The Love of God; a gospel-themed CD that was debuted March 7th.

Then this Sunday, GAC-TV will air Kenny Rogers: The First 50 Years. The special was originally taped in 2010 and features many of Rogers’ superstar friends including Dolly Parton, Tim McGraw, Lionel Richie, The Oak Ridge Boys, Smokey Robinson, Alison Krauss, Chris Isaak, Billy Currington and Darius Rucker.

Congrats to Kenny Rogers on a tremendous career.
