Angela Dorian (as she was known when she became Playboy‘s 1968 Playmate of the Year) born Victoria Vetri 66 years ago, and now answers to Victoria Rathgeb (by way of her marriage to Bruce Rathgeb, if we have the facts right), got back into the news today after a brief career as a starlet.

DorianVetriRathgeb allegedly shot Bruce (detectives think) and has been charged with attempted murder. The D.A may have to change the charge if Mr. Rathgeb takes a turn for the worse.  At the moment he’s in critical condition, and that’s between serious and the other thing.

The cops allege that (let’s call her Ms. Rathgeb) Ms. Rathgeb did her husband in with a semi-auto pistol in their Hollywood apartment on Saturday.  It was earlier reported that Ms. Rathgeb told the law that a drug dealer had shot her husband of 20 years.

All that will be sorted out in front of a curious judge on November 1st.
