Legendary Country Music crooner, George Jones is being inducted into the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame.

Jones won’t be alone that night – he’ll be joined by fellow inductees Al Dexter and Ray Winkler. The ceremony is set to take place 7:00 p.m., August 21st, at the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame Theater.

Jones has been a staple in Country Music since the 1950s and is still packing fans into watch him perform. His hits include A Picture of Me Without You and If Drinkin’ Don’t Kill Me (Her Memory Will).

This year’s special guest performer will be Mel Tillis and the Statesiders. Also performing will be the Justin Trevino Band featuring Tony Booth, Georgette Jones, Frankie Miller, Darryl McCall, Mona McCall, Amber Digby and Curtis Potter. Ralph Emery will host the event.
