McG has had his producing hands in so many hit TV projects from The O.C. and Supernatural to Chuck and his latest series Human Target.
He’s also made a name in the film world with movies like Terminator Salvation. His newest flick is Spring Awakening, a movie adaptation of the hit Broadway production.
The story is set in 19th-Century Germany where a group of teenagers are just realizing their sexuality.
Spring Awakening was more than just another popular musical, it was a Tony Award winner. Still, that doesn’t freak the filmmaker out a bit while taking the story from the stage to the screen. He knows the premise is a traditional tale about struggle between young love and adult intervention along with the other roadblocks in the way of romance.
