After George Lucas completed the “Star Wars” saga on the big screen, he realized he wasn’t quite ready to let go of the story and the universe he’d created. So rather than retire again — as he’d done following the initial wave of “Star Wars” movies — he threw his energies behind “The Clone Wars,” the animated series that’s been running on Cartoon Network.
