Brandon Dumlao got his 15 minutes of fame on So You Think You Can Dance last Tuesday. He was brought into the top 20 this season after Billy Bell fell ill and couldn’t return to the competition.
So in he went, one day’s rehearsal, then tossed onto the floor in front of a live audience and nearly 10-million viewers watching. Dumlao didn’t last long. He was cut from the competition after his first performance.
Executive ProducerNigel Lythgoe threw him one heck of a lifeline at the end of the show, though. Lythgoe is considering bending the rules and letting Dumlao return for season seven – all because Lythgoe believes he got a raw deal in terms of prep time.
The Hip Hop dancer isn’t taking his good fortune lightly. After just missing the top 20 originally for season six, Dumlao enrolled in classes to better improve his chances – and he’s headed right back there to insure he’ll be at his best if and when he returns.

The competition begins again on SYTYCD, Tuesday, 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on Fox.
When we first got to see her on “Saved By The Bell,” she was Tiffani-Amber Thiessen — and to many, she’ll always be Tiffani-Amber.
