Chosen to open this year’s Toronto International Film Festival and is receiving great critical and audience response. Earlier this week, we sat down with JOHNSON and SEGAN to talk about the film and get their thoughts on the time-travel aspect of the story.

Open to artists in almost all the creative fields, hiREcord is a fascinating idea and a delightful website worth spending a little time (and money) on. Earlier this week, we sat down with GORDON-LEVITT, who talked about hitREcord and how it works.

We sat down with the actor yesterday to talk about his new film and he took a moment to reflect on the twisty ending of CHRISTOPHER NOLAN’S final installment in the BATMAN trilogy and how NOLAN handled the introduction of a new character.

‘Looper’ Star Joseph Gordon-Levitt Not Looking To ‘Escape’ In His Movie Watching

looperEarlier this summer, JOSEPH GORDON-LEVITT wowed audiences with his role in THE DARK KNIGHT RISES, the third (and final) installment in CHRISTOPHER NOLAN’S impressive BATMAN trilogy. After that, the young star was practically ignored in the little seen bike-messenger thriller PREMIUM RUSH and, now, seems back on track with the upcoming sci-fi thriller LOOPER. Opening in theaters later this week, LOOPER is written and directed by RIAN JOHNSON and stars GORDON-LEVITT as well as BRUCE WILLIS, EMILY BLUNT, PIPER PERABO, JEFF DANIELS, PAUL DANO and GARRET DILLAHUNT.

Writer/Director Rian Johnson Admits Screen Violence Is Necessary To ‘Looper’

looper_ver3_xlgIn the highly anticipated sci-fi/time travel adventure LOOPER, a mob hit man is hired to fulfill a contract put out on…himself. Written and directed by RIAN JOHNSON, the film stars JOSEPH GORDON-LEVITT, BRUCE WILLIS, EMILY BLUNT, PIPER PERABO, JEFF DANIELS, PAUL DANO and GARRETT DILLAHUNT.
Chosen to open this year’s Toronto International Film Festival, LOOPER cast and director met with entertainment press a couple of days ago to field questions about the movie. One of the topics of discussion was the violent nature of the film and how it might play in the wake of the recent theater shooting in Colorado.
