‘Big Bang Theory’ Stars Move Into The ‘Friends’ Zone

Having just completed its 11th season– and renewed for a 12th — The Big Bang Theory is, by far, this generation’s longest-lived sitcom. In terms of ratings, longevity, and impact, the last show that was even in Big Bang’s ballpark was Friends, which was a huge hit and cultural touchstone for 10 seasons. At a recent press event, the two shows were mentioned as having a similar legacy, and the Big Bang cast members — Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki, and Kaley Cuoco — were very flattered by the comparison. ‘Big Bang’ Stars Look Back At Their Hair-itage

People can change a lot in 11 years. Just take a look through your old photographs, and you’ll see how true that can be. Of course, actors have the luxury of being able to watch their old reruns to see how they looked in years past. For Kaley Cuoco and Kunal Nayyar of The Big Bang Theory, which is now in its 11th season, the show’s earlier episodes play out like a time capsule of awkward hairstyles. Kaley Cuoco: Big Laughs On The ‘Big Bang’ Set Are Real!

bb15The stars of The Big Bang Theory crack each other up. Literally. Have you ever watched the show and seen the characters laugh when another does something really funny? Did you think the laughs were scripted for the characters? Kaley Cuoco told us they aren’t — when the cast members laugh at each other’s jokes on camera, it’s because they’re genuinely entertaining each other on the set. To Kaley Cuoco, ‘Big Bang’ Success Is Still A Big Deal

Kaley Cuoco has had the kind of career young actors dream about when they arrive in Hollywood: She’s had steady TV jobs for the last 15 years, on 8 Simple Rules, Charmed, and, of course, on The Big Bang Theory. It’s been a remarkable run for Cuoco, especially considering it started when she was just 16 years old! (Kaley Cuoco fun fact: One of her early, pre-stardom TV roles was a young version of Ellen DeGeneres in a flashback on the comedienne’s ’90s sitcom, Ellen.) With The Big Bang Theory now in its 11th season, it has become one of the longest-running TV comedies of all time, a fact that Cuoco definitely has not taken for granted. (Click on the audio player below to hear Kaley Cuoco)

New episodes of The Big Bang Theory air Monday nights at 8/7c on CBS.
