Best selling author CHUCK PALAHNIUK (FIGHT CLUB, CHOKE, SNUFF) writes the kind of books that leave a lot of people wondering how such a nice, mild-mannered kind of guy can get so dark.

His latest novel to hit the screen is CHOKE and was adapted by actor/director CLARK GREGG who went to great pains to recreate the feel of the book. PALAHNIUK tells us that GREGG ‘got it’ and knew where he was coming from. Listen in to our interview with the author below:

BURN AFTER READING was the box-office king last week-end, making it the first movie that THE COHN BROTHERS have opened at #1 (despite their huge cult following).

BRAD WILLIAM HENKE is probably best known to TV audiences for his roles in OCTOBER ROAD and GOING TO CALIFORNIA but that’s likely to change when the J.J. ABRAMS big screen prequel STAR TREK opens later this season.

We spoke with HENKE a couple of days ago and he spilled the beans that, in the upcoming movie,  he plays the alcoholic, abusive uncle of young James Kirk before Kirk heads off to Starfleet Academy. He also spoke of his fondness for ABRAMS and the secrecy surrounding the script. Clippage below for all you Trekkers:

We haven’t done a swag item in quite some time but felt that the inclusion of BEN-WA BALLS in the swag package for the big screen adaptation of CHUCK PALAHNIUK’S novel CHOKE deserved a mention.

BEN-WA BALLS…really?????…the times, they are a’changin’…..
