Mel Gibson is making his acting comeback in January starring in the new thriller Edge Of Darkness.
This will be his first starring role in a movie since the incident in 2006 where he was pulled over and arrested for driving under the influence, followed by a well-documented, anti-Semitic rant directed toward the officers.

WOAH!…This new trailer for the upcoming HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON just appeared on the web. The story involves a teen Viking who lives on an island where fighting dragons is an everyday thing. The all-star voice talent cast includes JAY BARUCHEL, AMERICA FERRERA, GERARD BUTLER, JONAH HILL, CHRISTOPHER MINTZ-PLASSE, CRAIG FERGUSON and KRISTEN WIIG.

We’re a little confused when it comes to the recent choices made by JUDE LAW. We’ve been fans since forever but, lately, with the SHERLOCK HOLMES nonsense and, now, this REPO MEN trailer…well, we’re slightly flummoxed. Sure, everybody’s gotta pay the rent but…really?…this??

KEVIN SMITH’S much talked about COP OUT trailer has just hit the web. Formerly called A COUPLE OF DICKS, the film stars BRUCE WILLIS and TRACY MORGAN as long-time NYPD partners on the trail of a memorabilia obsessed baseball card thief. Watch for it to hit theaters 2/26/10.

The trailer for the much-anticipated SEX AND THE CITY 2 just hit the web yesterday and it looks like the whole gang is going to be going to a gay wedding. BROKEBACK MANHATTAN, anyone?

 FROZEN, a new film starring SHAWN ASHMORE, KEVIN ZEGGERS, EMMA BELL and KANE HODDER looks like it could be “the thriller” of the season. This trailer just hit the web today and hopefully will fulfill it’s promise.

If Bounty is the quicker-picker-upper, Gerard Butler’s “Bounty Hunter” character is hoping that corralling bail-jumping ex-girlfriend Jennifer Aniston will be a quick pick-up.  But between romantic entanglements and would-be killers, it looks like that won’t be the case, based on the trailer for the new movie.

More TWILIGHT SAGA stars branching out to other projects. KRISTEN STEWART and DAKOTA FANNING play real-life band-mates JOAN JETT and CHERRIE CURRIE in THE RUNAWAYS. Part “coming of age” story and part “biopic”, this one should have both girl and boy TWILIGHT fans standing in line.

Even though GARRY MARSHALL’s upcoming rom-com, VALENTINE’S DAY, has a cast featuring JULIA ROBERTS, BRADLEY COOPER, ANNE HATHAWAY, JESSICA BIEL, JENNIFER GARNER and JAMIE FOXX, we’re betting it’s the quick glimpse of TAYLOR LAUTNER and TAYLOR SWIFT smooching that’s going to bring in the TWILIGHT crowd. Jus’ sayin’……..
