Meryl StreepWhen we look back at Meryl Streep’s career, we see the defining actress of a generation. She earned the first of her 21 first Oscar nomination for 1978’s The Deer Hunter and has won three times — a feat surpassed by only one actor in the history of Hollywood. Streep can tie Katharine Hepburn if she wins her fourth, since she’s nominated again for her role in Steven Spielberg’s The Post.
