One of the new series with the most buzz going into the Fall TV season is Young Sheldon, the CBS comedy that introduces us to The Big Bang Theory’s Sheldon Cooper as a nine-year-old. The actor who’s played grown-up Sheldon for the last 10 years, Jim Parsons, is on board as both producer and narrator. The Emmy-winner told us that his involvement in Young Sheldon has become an emotional experience, as he’s worked with Iain Armitage, the actor playing young Sheldon, to help him figure out some of the character’s tendencies and quirks. (Click on the media bar below to hear Jim Parsons)

Young Sheldon premieres September 25 on CBS.
