Adam Levine raised a lot of eyebrows back in 2011 when he signed on as a judge for The Voice. After all, he was a recording and touring musician whose band, Maroon 5, was still at the top of its game. How would he be able to multitask his career with two extremely demanding jobs? Turns out, there was nothing to worry about. In fact, it’s made him even more productive! Pre-Voice, it took Maroon 5 eight years to record three albums; they’ll be releasing their third album in six years this summer. The additional exposure hasn’t hurt, either: Since Levine started moonlighting on the NBC talent competition, Maroon 5 has had seven songs top the U.S. radio airplay chart. Obviously, joining The Voice turned out to be a very good decision for Levine. Now that he’s 13 seasons in, what’s been the most memorable part of his experience? The Voice airs Monday and Tuesday nights at 8/7c on NBC.
