Chances Are Slim For A Big Screen Reprise Of ‘Sons Of Anarchy’

148This Fall will see the premiere of the seventh (and final) season of the popular FX drama series SONS OF ANARCHY and it appears it will be a bittersweet experience for fans. Picking up just ten days after last season left off, the show opens with Jax (CHARLIE HUNNAM) in jail and suspected of killing his wife. Created by KURT SUTTER, SONS OF ANARCHY (like its titular biker gang) has always been a bit of a rule breaker and fans can expect more of the same as loose ends are tied up and a few beloved cast members are sent to meet their maker.

Ever since word broke that this would definitely be the final season of the series, rumors have floated around that there was a possibility of a big screen theatrical film to continue the story. Speaking on the red carpet at a recent Television Critics Association press function, SUTTER pretty much put the kabosh on that hope.

Season Seven of THE SONS OF ANARCHY premieres on FX in September.

Maroon 5’s ‘Maps’ To Success Didn’t Include TV ShortCuts’

147When Maroon 5’s debut album, Songs About Jane, was released in 2002, the band went on tour with Train, O.A.R., and Sheryl Crow — playing a second stage in each venue’s parking lot. They fought hard for their success, and it’s paid off with a career featuring four platinum albums and nine Top 10 singles, including their latest, Maps. The band’s accomplishments have made its lead singer, Adam Levine, a celebrity in his own right, with a regular gig on The Voice and a co-starring role in the new movie Begin Again.

But back in the pre-fame days, Levine tells us that he and his bandmates really struggled, and that without televised competitions and platforms like YouTube, they had to do things a lot differently than a lot of today’s artists.

Bradley Cooper’s Ballad of Rocket Raccoon

146Although The Hangover franchise is over, Bradley Cooper may have found himself another successful series with Guardians of the Galaxy. He may be relegated to doing the voice of the warrior raccoon Rocket, but it’s really hard to complain when you’re part of an impending blockbuster hit.

For Cooper, one of the many joys of partaking in Guardians of the Galaxy was his close knit collaboration with James Gunn, the filmmaker behind the underrated feature Super. The actor talked to us about loving every minute of creating Rocket. (Click on the media bar below to hear Bradley Cooper)

Guardians of the Galaxy, co-starring Vin Diesel, Chris Pratt, and Zoe Saldana opens in theaters this Friday.
