The indie drama Generation Um centers on a trio of New York City friends (Keanu Reeves, Bojana Novakovic, Adelaide Clemens) who, after a night of partying, decide to do it all over again with another day of debauchery. When John (Reeves) spontaneously picks up a camcorder and documents their lives, their bond takes unexpected twists and turns.
During the interviews for Generation Um, Keanu Reeves explained why the movie’s moniker is not focused on simply one generation. Instead, the picture focuses on the universal element of human connection.
