Olympus Has Fallen features Gerard Butler as a former agent who is the only hope after the White House has fallen captive to terrorists (the main bad guy is Rick Yune, who played the James Bond villain in Die Another Day).
Aaron Eckhart plays the beleaguered president in this action movie, which is directed by Training Day filmmaker Antoine Fuqua.
Whether it’s an indie project or a big budget studio flick, Eckhart brings an acute dedication to his craft. Case in point: he wore handcuffs even after the camera stopped shooting to accurately portray his character.
“As an actor, you want to feel that you’re actually in the circumstances that they put you in,” said Eckhart. “I had to be up in those cuffs for eight hours a day, if not more.”
