With Oz The Great And Powerful, James Franco reunites with not only with Sam Raimi (his director for the the three previous Spider-Man films), he also works once again with Mila Kunis. Franco and Kunis worked together on the comedy Date Night, performed a spoof of the reality series The Hills for Funny or Die, and shot a project with NYU film students titled Tar (for a review of the piece, check out this Indie Wire article).
“We have a great dynamic,” said Franco at last weekend’s Oz The Great And Powerful press conference. “She’s a great actor and one of the great things about Mila is she’s just a great collaborator. She’s very easy going, and she’s very good at acting on her feet. Doing improvisations, figuring things out in a very organic way and that’s how I think I like to work. I’ll do anything with Mila.“
